Bouins Fixative

For staining animal tissues.

 

Picric Acid Saturated in H20 75ml

Formalin 25ml

Glacial Acetic Acid 5ml

 

Wash tissues with PBS, then fix in Bouins overnight, store in 70% ethanol





Wash cell pellets in PBS, then fix 1-2 hours, store in 70% ethanol
